meet our founder

Mrs. Catherine Willis founded The G.U.A.R.D.I.A.N. Mentoring Program, Inc. in 2015 after working in the banking industry for seven years. She became inspired with the need to help and educate teenage students in the areas of financial literacy and decision making after reflecting on her own life experiences that kept her suppressed with her own desires. She created the organization to encourage adolescents and show them that it is never too late to accomplish your dreams. Mrs. Willis vowed to make a change in her own life. Therefore, she returned to school in 2015 to work towards her personal goals. She took the initiative to change her situation and strive towards success through her own life challenges and aspires to do the same for the mentees she serves.
